Stop asking for directions from people who’ve never been where you’re going.
When we have a dream, a vision, a goal, or even a decision to make…we’re usually seeking confidence in it. And so we’ll “go to the committee” for advice.
The problem is usually this: the “committee” we choose has actually never been were we want to go. They have their own pastle of limiting beliefs and stories and social conditioning and they’re likely to, with the best of intentions, 💩 all over it and plant seeds of doubt in your mind that *feel like truth* (but only because they feel familiar…not because they’re really true).
This is one of the key reasons most people stay stuck or stay put.
Listen, it’s wonderful to have TRUSTED ADVISORS in your life.
But make sure the people you’re asking for directions have actually (successfully) been where you want to go.
And even if they have, trust your own intuition and use your discernment on what’s truly right for you. Not the voice of trauma, fear, anxiety, or conditioning. Your intuition is going to be the still, small whisper inside of you…trust that over any “committee”.
